HUGE Way For Others To Get The Most Impact From Your Videos

Whatever “business” you’re into – Network marketing, Coaching, or anything else, really – where you do your videos is CRITICAL to how the message your sending comes across.

Have you ever watched a video of a “guru” or someone who is trying to convince you of their pitch or vision, only to lose you because of the quality? It could be as simple as lighting, but is most often LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!

HERE’S YOUR HUGE SUCCESS TIP: If you are giving details about something, like a business comp plan (or if you’re a Life Coach, you’re giving details about how to make a specific change), etc, make your videos indoors. The personal feel of one on one is an amazing way to get people to lean into your words and vision.

This video by Katie Freiling will show you what I mean:

On the other hand, if you are talking about “growing” or “expanding”, or using words to paint the picture of enormity, make your videos outside. Jonathan Budd is amazing with this format, and it doesn’t even matter what he says! You could mute the video and still get the feel of enormous expansion, amazing possibilities and incredible visions! And in an interesting twist, this man can still get close enough to your heart to speak that one on one language with you. THIS is an example of someone who can really call you to action! Check out what I mean in the video below:

(You’ll have to click the link since it’s not a YouTube video, but something I received in my email!)

It’s just one example of the power of knowing your audience, knowing your product/service, and understanding language, and using specific LOCATION for your videos.

I understand that not everyone has access to top of the line equipment, and I’m here to tell you that you don’t need it! You can create and share incredibly powerful messages by being aware, and making changes when necessary. Do some planning ahead – even a little bit goes a long way!

Have fun planning your next series of life changing videos! I’m off to take my own advice!

Blessings!

The Meeting AFTER The Meeting

Have you ever gone to a Business Opportunity Meeting, or even a live event like a seminar? I have been to many over the course of my Network Marketing journey, and will continue to do so!

Have you gone to one of those meetings or events and most (if not all) of the information is basically the same? Did you think it was a waste of time? If so, then you have completely missed the purpose of attending these!

Let me give you a couple of tips about attending BOM’s or events:

1. Arrive early

2. “Show up”

3. Stay Late

Now, let me explain each one in more detail, so you can understand the significance.

1. Arrive Early – When you attend a meeting or event, it’s always a good idea to arrive early for a few different reasons. First of all, it makes it way easier to meet the organizer as well as any key speakers. You want to do this, and need to do this, so that they are familiar with you. It gives you a chance to get some one on one time with them, and might even be able to help them out in the future! (*Just as a side note, I arrived WAY early AND took the initiative to speak directly with a few of the people that were speaking that weekend. Not only did we have a nice conversation before the event even started, I was invited to tag along while they went to lunch!) Second, better seat selection. You want to sit up front and center as much as possible. Not only does it help you stay attentive, your “placement” will allow the speaker to actually see MORE of you. Third, it allows you to greet others as they are coming in, thereby showing YOU as a leader! Many of them might even ask who you are and if you are affiliated with the speakers….

2. “Show Up” – Really BE there with everyone and everything that you are learning. Even if you’ve heard it 100 times before, there may be something new you learn; a different perspective. Show the speaker courtesy and respect. When you are a leader, and give your full attention to the person speaking, others will see that and do the same. Then, when it’s your time to be the speaker, you will get that same respect in return.

3. Stay Late – This might be one of the most important things you ever do (especially if you were not able to show up early!). Depending on what time the session let out, it may be time to eat . =)  If you are feeling particularly ambitious, you can invite THEM to eat with YOU! Even if they say no, it was still a nice gesture, and they may extend a personal invite to you. Hang around afterwards for as long as possible, without appearing like a stalker. It’s one thing to linger and loiter, it’s quite another to engage in useful conversation (or to help clean up). During the speech(es), you may have written some questions down. This would be a great time to ask if you can have just a quick second of their time to explain something further. Please be sure to keep it quick. Most speakers are usually very busy, but want to help you as much as possible. Thank them for their time, either way. By showing a genuine interest in the topic, they may even spill the beans on something outside of what was talked about earlier.

Did you catch that last sentence? You have just been to a meeting for the umpteenth time, only to stay a few minutes afterwards, engage in light conversation, and walk away with something that could potentially change your life!

This phenomenon in referred to as,

The Meeting AFTER The Meeting

A perfect example of this was the No Excuses Summit in Vegas earlier this year. I saw it, and participated in it! Never underestimate the power of putting yourself out there. Just those 3 simple things can make all the difference in your financial and personal future!

What the Northridge Earthquake and the Nashville Flood Taught Me About Residual Income

Growing up in Los Angeles, California, I happened to be there for The Northridge Earthquake of 1994. That earthquake caused an estimated $20 billion in damage, making it one of the costliest natural disasters in U.S. history. I was in my early 20′s at the time, and had been through a few tremors before. That morning, however, that particular earthquake was one I will never forget. Fortunately, our house was not condemned, though it did sustain a lot of damage. My dad had canceled the Earthquake Insurance on the house just the year before, thinking he would not need it. My parents had to take out an SBA loan to pay for the repairs – approximately $73,300. FEMA had given little help in the beginning, so it was up to them to pay for the damage caused by mother nature!

My dad passed away 7 months later, while on a camping in an RV with my mom in Montana. It was now up to her to make those SBA payments, along with the rest of the bills that kept the house running. She figured out that she would be in the financial hole about $200-$300 each month. My mom worked full-time, and made good money, but there was one less person contributing to the household now.

My husband and I moved to Nashville 4 and a half years ago. He works full-time, and I am a stay at home mom (or work from home, whatever you want to call it!). We have 2 girls under the age of 3, and as you know, kids require money. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be faced with another natural disaster. Yet, it happened this past weekend, without warning, and without preparation. We were fortunate, and did not lose everything we own. We didn’t lose anything. But we have friends who did. The devastation will be felt in Nashville and the surrounding areas for some time. Fortunately, we kick ass when it comes to community, so I have no doubt our “recovery time” will be shorter than expected.

This devastation made me wonder about what I would do if I were put in the same situation as my mom, all those years ago. What would happen if my husband passed away? How would I pay the bills? How would I take care of our kids?

Fortunately, we were introduced to 2 wonderful companies, and have taken charge of our financial future! Passive Residual Income is our focus now, and we are excited about the possibilities and freedoms it will allow. MLM has been a dirty phrase for a long time, due to some horrible companies, and bad press. “Pyramid Scheme” has replaced what could potentially be security for many people. Of course, you don’t want to limit yourself by just becoming an “Independent Distributor” for a company (or two). Creating your financial empire requires more than just getting people involved in your business as a rep, or buying your product. You will have to research and work hard for a time, to build your business – build YOURSELF. The major players in Network Marketing know that you have to Brand Yourself. But what does that mean?

If you have any hope of continuous Passive Income, you must start thinking about the possibility of your company’s downline vanishing. When you are a part of an MLM, you are still subject to the business going under, even though your personal success is relative to how much you put into it. When you are working your MLM, your downline is not yours! Your downline belongs to the Company. Think about it for a minute. That’s why you might be hearing all this talk about “build your Brand” and not just your MLM.

Katie Freiling wrote a brilliant Blueprint on how to create lifelong, lasting personal wealth, using Social Media. If you have been in a cave somewhere, here’s the link!

Social Media Wealth Manifesto

I’m not sure if this is even available the original way, and I may have to delete this link if it has. So get it now, while you still can!

So, here’s what I’ve learned:

Passive Income is the new Wealth

Personal Branding is the way to get there

MLM is not a dirty phrase, as long as you work it for what it is, make it your own, and create something bigger!

Tragic events are going to happen. Be prepared financially, by Branding Yourself, so that you will always have income streams! The fact that you can do this anywhere is a plus, since relocating might be necessary.

Why grow someone else’s business when you can grow your OWN??

Your next step should be printing that FREE Manifesto, and applying it TODAY!! Financial Freedom is not going to just drop out of the sky, so get to work!

What I LOVE about Katie Freiling is her authenticity. She is a great motivator, trustworthy, and easy to follow (and duplicate). She is the kind of person you can be friends with in an instant, and know she would do just about anything for you!

Look what she has done already with her videos and her own Manifesto. For someone to give away all their “goods”, it’s rare my friends! But it’s becoming more common, and shows us that there IS NO LIMIT! Scarcity is a LIE! The more you give, the more you are free to receive.

I have already signed up! This blog helps me get the message out there to all of you who’s phone number I do not have! Spread the word, share the wealth…There IS enough!
